How to configure and use CreamAPI with Dead by Daylight correctly?

I'm trying to use CreamAPI with my legit Dead by Daylight copy on Steam, but upon starting Dead by Daylight while having CreamAPI applied im running into the following Error Message:



Day by Daylight's folder structure is very different from other games, the steam_api64.dll is not in the game's root folder together with the .exe file, but in:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead by Daylight\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Ste amv138\Win64


I tried using CreamAPI versions 3.0.0.3 hotfix, 3.2.0.0, 3.3.0.0, setting extraprotection, unlockall and wrappermode to true all with the same result.

The version number on the original steam_api64.dll in the Dead by Daylight game folder is 3.62.82.82 and the version number on the steam_api64.dll coming with CreamAPI 3.3.0.0 is 4.28.51.7, the one coming with CreamAPI 3.0.0.3 hotfix is 4.4.91.85 and the older ones that I got don't fake an original steam_api64.dll but instead have CreamAPI Legit DLC Unlocker in their file details along with the CremAPI version instead of the steam_api64.dll version.


So is there anybody who knows how to configure/use CreamAPI correctly to make it work with Dead by Daylight legit on Steam?
