Wanna play Valorant again after ban? Read this

I got banned in the beta, i tried new accounts, i tried spoofers, i tried full windows installs and nothing worked.

• Q. Why New Accounts Banned? A. Becayse RIOT bans via HWID's
• Q. Why spoofers dont work? A. Spoofer needs to have access to the machine before Vanguard loads. When Vanguard loads on startup it grabs your real HWID's and when you spoof you are already banned again. There is no way of getting the spoofer to do its job since Vanguard runs in kernel.
• Q. Why wont clean install of windows work? A. You are HWID banned, Windows will generate the same HWID, even on a clean install.

I heard people changing hard drives and being able to play, i tried it and still got banned. I had 6 drives to choose from and got banned 3 times while installing a clean version of windows on each one, still banned.

So i thought about a different path, change the HWID's from a hardware perspective. So i started to order the same parts i had on my PC build.

I got ordered the same motherboard and the same Drives i had in my rig via Amazon, i then changed serial stickers around from the new stuff to the old stuff and returned them back to Amazon.

Clean install of windows and i was back playing Valorant in a new account. Using an old account that was banned will get your new HWID's windows generated banned again.

Did you only switch out the motherboard and the hard drive to get playing again? I want to get new parts but i dont know what parts to get. I just want to be 100% sure what im doing is what i need to do to get playing again.

Installed same Brand and Version of mother board and also my two nvme drives new from Amazon. Clean install and done, windows will generate new HWIDs

Don't get confused by me saying I got the same stuff i already had in my rig from before, i did that to be able to return them to Amazon lol, I was playing just fine on my streaming computer but i would much rather play on my gaming rig.

New motherboard and new drives will do it. I had 6 drives and i replaced all six, i am pretty sure vanguard grabs all the drives HWID's. So to avoid any bans i replaced all of them.

I did not get IP banned and i don't think they do IP bans since anyone can make a call to their ISP and get a new IP assigned.

vanguards starts from boot time, they get all your serials before you use it.

@mrperez816 , that's a nice thread but ... everything you said here was tried by other members and everything failed so I really want to know if you are still safe in the time of 1 week. If so, great news!

you can't start the game when AC is disabled and you are also required to restart the machine to re-enable

Vanguard stays in the machine after uninstall of Valorant. You will know because if you try to reinstall Valorant it will say "Repairing" meaning it leaves some files behind after Uninstall. I spent so much time doing trial and errors and the only thing that worked for me was to change Motherboard, and all Drives.

When i did that Windows gave me a new System HWID and all of my new Drives have all new serials. I even replaced my external drives just to be on the safe side.

Vanguard is High Priority at startup, that being said, by the time you spoof your serial numbers Vanguard has already captured your original serials, if they match those from a ban, it will ban any new accounts created.

If your account is banned and you do what i suggested with changing Motherboard and Drives, those will also get banned. You need a new account, new motherboard and new drives.

You need a spoofer. Modern ACs have kernel level drivers where they can query hardware information directly.

No, Vanguard stays in the PC after Valorant uninstall. Doing a full windows wipe and reinstall cleans any files hidden by Vanguard.

Yeah you're going to have to analyze their code and see what they are doing. They are likely doing a number of things: matching IP, matching mac address, kernel level driver to gather hardware to identify users, saving info related to bans in the HD somewhere (registry possible).

I'd format, change the mac address for your primary network interface, disable all the other interfaces, change your IP, run a spoofer and then install Valorant and try to play with a new account.

I already fixed my ban issue, I replaced all my drives and motherboard completely and then created a new account. 3 Weeks in, no ban.
