Community Skin Tool

I'm currently working on a tool to share/rate/comment/download skins.

Users will be able to share their selfmade skins with a description etc.

It will basically be like leaguecraft skins but w/ a better looking,organisation and as a program that'll be developed further and further.

You will sure be able to just pick your champion, instantly see the best rated or most disussed skins and download them with just one click.

I please you guys to give me ideas for this since I am still working on the basic systems.

I haven't started doing the GUI yet. What I did for now is code the whole
PHP system(mysql database system) and a library for it.

The whole idea is based on the community and it should later on have a lot of more things than just skin sharing.

blubb, going by what i've seen of your coding, this should work wonders, and love how you put your own spin on this perticular program.

but, blubb, from some of your programs' dev time, i wonder when this will come out.....

The script db program was an idea of Xscapism(Hassan) & me. We never actually get to finish it really...Hassan is sometimes off for a week or so and it's generally complicated to code with him :P.

I was working on a black ops texture program previously. My laptop crashed and I lost ALL my vb projects and ALL my php systems. Today I recoded the whole PHP texture system(~500 lines) and created a new library (nearly 900 lines so far). That's most likely the reason why I did not release what I've announced.

I'm sorry to disappoint you with previous announcements. This time I am sure going to back up my projects multiple times .

Later on, I'm going to start making the GUI.

Do you have any ideas of what could be added?

display's of the char with the selected modded skin before changing it?...
seem to have anything that i would use in a skin selecter/changer basicly there...(as far as i can see)

btw, if you need the .dll of your MW2 dll, or the v.1 code for it, im surei have it laying around someware...

A 3D Preview would be pretty awesome. I'll try some directx shit later on. Coded enough for now . Thanks for the idea.

A txt document that has saved what skins and what champs there on, and it tells you at startup, and has a butten during runtime.
Custom music? Like.....it backs up the originals, then asks you what you want to play instead, then copys the selected tracks in, and renames them.
(i was thinking of how i would go about these, but you probably could make it neater than me...)
also, i made a vb.net script for finding a file, and copying a file there. Just PM me if ya want it.

as in, custom skin name, and hero that said skin is on.
(may get custom skin names that might clash on other chars)
