Everyone, a massive ban wave has happened. Use caution while cheating!1

They are starting a banwave with the informations they collected from the past 2 weeks.
Automated statistical data reports but also manual investigations based on reported players are affected.
They add 2 checks basic memory and a hash check. But to See that they cannot be 100% with the affected players given that the affected players only get 2 Weeks ban shows how "good" they are with this. But even if you aren't banned now don't get to excited you can still grt Banned for things you did weeks or days ago. It is obvious that R* needs to take action with the media reporting Bad news over GTAV Online.

First proof of the banwave was reported by a player which used a FOV mod.
But R* will have to face one Problem which would be how to confirm that player XYZ didn't cheat money but actually got the money by another player which makes him not a real cheater since that player didn't violate the terms of use.

So either there will be a lot of false positives OR they will just reset too high money accounts. They won't bother about already bought items. Even if for example a Titan was purchased with cheated money they will still let you have that Titan.

Lol got banned for two weeks, good fun while it lasted though. Hopefully we can eventually find a way around their new protection.

Used cheat engine a couple times to at least get a jump start on cash, then i got up to 12 mil with trainers. About it

if you try to go online, get the banned screen, then go back to SP it shows it above the minimap when you will be unbanned

I got flagged, but thankfully, no bans. I attribute that to the fact I wasnt a huge asshole and just went around giving random people money :P

For me it just says I've been banned but hasn't said if it's perma or not. I also don't see how that twitter post means we will be unbanned on the 16th.
