[U]Canada defeated Russia 6-1 in world hockey final





In a meeting of the two most decorated teams in world championship history, Canada claimed its 25th title with another attacking display that Russia simply couldn’t cope with.After five straight years of quarter-final defeats, the Canadians are heading home with world championship gold medals for the first time since 2007 after a 6-1 thrashing of defending champion Russia on Sunday at O2 Arena.
Goaltender Mike Smith stopped 11 shots.


Police: 9 dead in shooting all members of rival biker



Several people are dead after a deadly brawl between rival biker gangs at a Waco, Texas restaurant.
The incident happened at the Twin Peaks Sports Bar and Grill in a shopping area called the Central Texas Market Place.
Police said eight had died at the scene and a ninth in hospital - all were bikers. At least 18 others were hurt.



Dairy Queen Cuts Soda From Kids Menu



Dairy Queen has announced it will remove sodas from its kids' menu effective September 1 of this year



According to Wootan, the decision to remove soda from the kids menu was approved unanimously by DQ’s Franchise Advisory Council.




Oculus Rift PC Specs



The company behind the Oculus Rift has finally released the recommend specs needed the run the virtual reality headset. Pre orders are starting later this year and there has been very high anticipation among tech consumers around the world. The specs listed are surprisingly high but since the headset is set to release next year, there is still plenty of time to upgrade your rig. Here specs needed to run the Oculus Rift!





For now these are the specs, however they may to subject to change. As of now, the product is set to release for PC only until the company decides to make the shift to Macs later on. Cool stuff!

Ironman Galaxy S6 Edge!



Looks like Samsung isn't done with their new S6 Edge! A limited edition of the phone is set to be released sometime soon. The company's Twitter released a teaser for an Ironman version of the S6 Edge. This is purely a comestic version and most likely there will not be any enhancements to the phone itself. The release date is currently unknown the the idea of a Ironman version of the S6 seems really cool! We can't wait!

The Void - Update

Last week, I released a video of "The Void" which was a virtual reality gaming arena. If you ever played Laser Tag and such, you know how fun it is to run around and gun people down with your friends. The Void takes this experience to a whole new level. The company plans to build arenas around the United States that hosts these games. The tech is really amazing and makes the whole experience almost feel like real life.

Heroes of the Storm World Championships gets $1.2M prize pool

The game won’t even be out of closed beta until early next week, but Blizzard is already ponying up big money for the inaugural Heroes of the Storm World Championships. Teams will compete for a share of a massive $1.2 million prize pool, with the finals being held at this year’s BlizzCon. Not bad for a first-time event, considering Starcraft II has been around since 2010 and it’s prize pool only sits at $1.6m. It looks like blizzard is really trying to bring attention to HotS over the more popular Dota 2 and League of Legends.

Blizzard bans more than 100,000 World of Warcraft accounts

Blizzard has dropped the banhammer on over 100,000 World of Warcraft players found to be using bots to automate their gameplay, the suspensions will last for six months and affect more than 100,000 accounts. The ban impacts not just "hardcore PvP botters," but anyone using bots to automate tasks.
