e.g.: Brackets
You could also google things like "html ide".
So recently I did one of the many courses on Codeacademy, the 'make your own website' one.. Is there a software for making websites that I can use to help me? I like how Codeacademy works where I can type the code and it shows up to the right. Are there any softwares that do this to help me code and notice when I make a mistake? I was trying to type in a normal notepad and couldn't help but constantly make mistakes, and not notice them.
Thanks!

i like using a program called: SublimeText. Very good imo. You can do many fancy things with that
Always get me to PM or leave a visitor message to you before doing a trade where I don't go first.

I suggest Sublime Text too, it's really good.
I do not use any type of messenger outside of MPGH.
Inactive but you can reach me through VM/PM.
i use cmd, i feel im hacker with cmd :0:0:0::0
I suggest either Sublime Text or another easy and good one to use is Aptana!
Good luck on your venture!
I like Dream Weaver a lot.
Hey Andy,
First of all, when I started to code I only used notepad. Tradicional way. But while studying IT on highschool I learn some coding softwares like Dreamweaver and this is the best choice to begginers! If you don't like DW (it's very light resourses) you would love to use Microsoft Visual Studio. It's more complex but really useful with a lot of programming languages support, the advantage it's this software is target to Windows Apps and It's around 10GB once installed but It's lighter than DW.

Best of luck,

But! If you are a begginer on coding, I would say to you, BEST OF LUCK and have fun! I started to code with HTML, then CSS to complement my HTML (websites, etc) and then I learn some Java and I am now learning C so I can learn C# later.

As for me, being a poor student having nothing but a Windows, I'd recommend edit your HTML on Notepad++, save it as HTML, and open it with Firefox. The same for CSS, I guess.
Anyway, congrats on taking first step toward being a web-dev. You might wanna learn CMS like ********* or Drupal to save times, though.
