Possible ban wave incoming.

There is a possible ban wave supposedly issued to engage on June 1st, Monday..

This information may or may not be correct. This is just a quick warning to all of you out there.

We will see if I get banned. I'm going to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if I was.

I can't wait for another ban wave.

so they let you mod all month but next month we will ban them

Ban waves makes it more difficult to avoid being banned.
What I don't understand is how some anti-cheat programs in SA-MP seems to be better then the current anti-cheat programs in GTA: Online.

That because rockstar really don't give a shit about the anti-cheat system as evidenced by the way you could hack it with CE. All they are going to do is do these Weekly/monthly ban waves to clear out a bunch of hackers.

tl:dr rockstar are lazy as fuck

Well, it would be too much of a hassle if Rockstar had to ban someone everytime someone was flagged for modding. So they just flag the accounts up over time, and ban them all in one giant ban wave.

By this point, people have had mod menus with the 'blame other player' function so there are a lot of innocent people with reports on their accounts. I suppose they could cross match the ones with reports and with ones that have whatever type of flag comes with using mods since the file check was integrated via 1.26, but you never know...

KTN meant that every week/month a ban wave would be executed, KTN did not mean how long hackers are banned for. Although yes some hackers are temporally banned for around 2 weeks.
