Basically, the reason I put preview on this post was because I'm not quite sure if my style of typing would suit most of the choobs who need help on this site... (aka the undereducated ones), so I'm posting only the first part of my Gun guide, which is Snipers. And to make it
even easier for you people to read, I'm only going to put one gun. The L96A1.
L96A1
This gun is the crown jewel of all snipers, if you have never used one, then you're missing a
LOT. It will nearly always 1 hit kill a player, and will almost definitely guarantee a nice kill/death ratio if you manage to find a good enough spot.
There are two main ways and one retarded way to use this gun.
The first way is the most commonly used by people who are new at the gun or are too lazy to improve. They tend to find a camping spot (mostly one that is most often used), and camp there, looking for people to stick their bodies out far enough to get hit. This rarely ever works as you get into higher ranked servers, and you will get many complaints from noobs if you do this in noob servers (using the server hack

).
The second way consists of learning to
quickscope. This is most commonly used in Sniper Only games, especially Junk Flea. It is best with L96A1, because if you hit even the side of the hitbox, you will still get a nearly guaranteed kill. This way requires patience to learn, and here's what you do :
1. Switch to your L96A1 (and whatever variations) if you haven't already.
2. Scope quickly, and as soon as you see an enemy name (or if your scope
flares, as it is often referred to), you fire.
3. Switch to another weapon (preferably your second Primary weapon, or a knife if it's Sniper Only), and then switch back so you can scope again slightly faster, and can skip the bolt-action.
The issue with this way is learning it, but there are really no other flaws (in my opinion).
A third way, but slightly retarded way, would be to no scope in Sniper Only games and in close range. I find this to be slightly retarded because even the slightest change in your aim could make the bullet go off, and with the L96A1's slow firing rate, I wouldn't recommend it at all.
To sum it up, here's a shorter list :
Pros
-1HKO
- Has a high enough caliber bullet to go through certain walls (if you use chams

), mostly wooden ones.
Cons
- Slow because of bolt-action (which can be skipped).
- Has terrible accuracy over extreme distances - i.e., if you try to scope someone on the other side of Snow Valley.
- The no scoping is terrible with the normal L96A1, and is by far more inaccurate than if you used any other gun. The L96A1's failure in no scoping could only possibly be matched by the PSG1.
Well there it is. After reading Stumpy's guide, I wanted to write a guide of my own on each gun, but in more detail. Constructive criticism please
