White-listed...is this officially making it private or is this just making it so they have to ask for you to add them before they can join in?

A few players might quit, but I check the forums every 20 minutes when I'm not busy.

Will they get banned if they don't whitelist or is it optional?

White-List = you cannot enter nexus if you haven't sent an application..no need to ban it will just auto-disconnect you
