How and where can I update this outdated internal cheat?

Hello guys, I am new to game hacking and am a complete noob. (please don't judge)
I have the de_stroyer source but when I inject, (with -insecure), my csgo goes to "CSGO not responding".
I think it might be an offset problem. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Control + F, then search for VEngineClient013 and change it to VEngineClient014.

Debug it, in visual studios or whatever you use.

@sikaknight cant debug since it is not a WIN32 application.

if you are new to game hacking start with basics, don't try to update old crappy sources

Been over a week since last update/bump after answers, assuming solved.
