VAC checks for Strings now??

When I tested my private hack in casual I got kicked for VAC authentication (didn't wrote viewangle)
But when I encrypted my Strings everything worked fine.
Do you think valve checks for things like client.dll and stuff?

They would risk too many false positives that way. They didn't do that, don't do that, and probably will never do that...

It's just a VAC Authentication error :L

Sure there would be a very low chance for a false positives but they just kick you for that so it might actually be a thing

It's not a thing... You don't need to encrypt strings with VAC.

No, its not a thing... they would not want to risk false positives...

Why would they risk false positives if they only kick?

VAC has indeed updated every single one of their modules, so it's not unlikely that they've added additional functionality. Credits: cra0

It would help anyone if people wouldn't be talking about stuff they have no idea about. This is not only referring to this thread but for every thread. Don't say they don't do x if you have no idea what you're talking about. If you don't know, don't talk about it. You'll only spread misinformation.
