[Help]Make a Flash Drive Lock?
Hay, Im Trying to make a Lock Program for my flash drive, what i wont it to do is
Lock all files on it from being seen or used, i now how to make a login thing(I mad a Screen Lock out)
But i not sher how to lock a drive...
anything help??

Quick thinking..easiest way I can think of if it views all of the extensions in your flash drive saves them...then changes it to a unsupported file ext. so when you want to view them you will click on the program enter your password and it would change it back.

Yeah, best thing to do is to put everything in like a .RAR/.ZIP file
then make it password protected,
only other way i can think of is erm,
just make a normal login, like i don't know erm,
make textbox1 and button1
add a form2
now in button1 add the simplist code in the world haha everyone know this .. add this ..
if textbox1.text = "your password here" then
form2.show

I suggest making somthing that auto changes all names off the files with a simple ecription program (look out here there is somthing like a maximum lengt of a file name so your encripted filename cant be to long)
Unless you want to get real advance like creating invisible partitions on the usb stick were it stores data in
also a funny option would be to just google a ftp client sourcecode and let it upload all the files to ftp server when you press lock and download when you press unlock
BTW i used packing when i placed somthing on the school server (secred location) they found it and just removed the rar file
