Can we get banned for using mods?

Yes, because your computer hosts every single file for Nexon. That's why it seems to take so much longer for you to patch.



Anyways, if you want to be technical, this is just as illegal and as mutch of a hack as OPK. You are modifying their client to give yourself things that other users do not have. It really is that simple. I feel that Nexon will ban for this, though, because if you can modify the .rez, you can figure out how to mod the rest of the files.

Like me; I'm thinking about swapping out the .dat files for worlds. I'd replace Snow Valley and Junk Flea and then do quarentine :>

no they will not ban, cause i play mabinogi another game by nexon and ppl are aloud to use mods and will not get banned

After reading his post, I actually stopped and tried to think about it. It depends if Nexon is truly scared of MPGH or not. They can ban us for mods and possibly stop a new method for chams/wallhacks [I don't know how] or they could let us use them and things could go south for them.

I haven't touched other Nexon games though; the only other one I plan to play is BlackShot by Outspark.

yeah but on CA there are nx weapons which sell only because they look awesome. if we change the texxtures theres no need to spend money on kool looking guns which have the same stats

so in mabinogi ppl get rifle mods to replace tehre bow who cares about buying a cool looking bow when you cna get a fkign arrow firing rifle... not me thats for sure

There is NOTHING benneficial that can come from modding weapon textures, or even if we could convert the .x files back to .ltb model files. So I don't see why nexon would nit pick about it. Anything that you do is only to make the game look cooler or whatever.
