no, dont give up, i need every file that is associated with the tommy gun, skins, sounds.. anything that has to do with the tommy gun, there should be 2 model files aswell

Keep it simple: Do what he guy in the video did. Keep the same UMP noise and such. Just sort out all of the UMP LTB files, and see if you can find a match for everything in both files, then sort them into 2 files.

You might have to keep the UMP's reload, it will looked fucked though.

there should be a file in contract jack that controls the reload animations, and the hand placement on the weapon, if we can figure those 2 out, we can see the gun, casue what is happening,, is the gun is just floating were ever it feels like

The UMP's hand positioning is pretty close. Im just lookign to get the model of the tommy gun first. Don't we need to edit REZ's and such for colour? Heres a screenie of it in 3D explorer

I don't know. Im just changing this model with the UMP_ANIBASE.LTB, and im trying it now. Be back with screenies and results.

hmm, swap it for the file in the GUNS_M_HH aswell as the anibase, then see what happens
