Walking nowhere in life,
Clock ticking away,
a treadmill of time.
Slight bump in the road,
coincidence? I think not.
Revolutionary, simplistic,
“how can this be?!” fantastic.
New way, now time is what I make it.
I fly free of any conditions,
now I've removed my own inhibitions.
The one piece of advice that I will give,
stop thinking of what you don’t want
and start focusing on what you need.
Be grateful for everyday is God’s gift,
and remember reality is always in shift,
because its nothing more than what you choose to believe.
I was captivated at the beginning but after the first two-thirds of the poem, it got dull and religious which I'm not a big fan of.
:\
Still good though.
Very nice poetry Liz

if you think it was religious then you missed the point entirely. I myself am not a religious person, and what I call God, is more of a Energy force, that drives the universe; Rather than a man. Besides that fact, the only mention of religion is the word "God" and that is it. The rest is simply a curved view at quantum physics, and other theories I've read lately. Entirely by accident, which is the "bump" in the road. But it has altered the way I look at life. Anyway I refuse to ponder of your negativity anymore, have a great day.
This was great reminder of the truth that i forget sometimes thankyou Liz.
