not sure if yall heard it but with pakistan shooting down 2 indian fighter jets and taking one of the pilots there might be war coming very soon
with both of them being nuclear powers they better not use those

I highly doubt the possibility of a war, media just wants to attract viewers with aggressive captions. A peaceful resolution is the only way to go about it, Indian media shoots shit out their mouth and young people are massively affected by this, they believe what they read without proper sources, they think that war is a 1 day affair, thankfully the government as stupid as it is in some aspects isn't that immature.

Pakistan is also pissed that an Indian minister of external affairs received a invite as a guest for the 26th OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation)

One of our pilots has been captured by them, a video was released where the pilot says that he is being treated well. Pakistan is bound by Geneva Convention not to harm war prisoners. Hopefully they maintain that level of diplomacy.

U r forgetting that ever since you guys had a partition in 1947, both sides have been killing each other at alarming rates right? Yall been at war/conflict for over 70 years and like u said it is religious based* ish but ur forgetting the MOBS of hindus who slaughtered muslims and vice versa. Pakistani militants believe they are in their rightful land, while india is currently also trying to annex some sections of its border with pakistan.. India has launched VARIOUS counter intelligence and network attacks vs pakistan, harboring terrorists or not that isnt a good way to do it. Pakistan on the other hand well they are 100% aiding terrorists but obama also did the same when he funded opposition groups. TLDR nobody is right war would be foolish but sometimes ppls ideologies are worth more than countless lives. its more of a pakistan believes they own something and india also believes they own something, india is the far more advanced country and pakistan is the underdog, both sides are doing no-nos but pakistans militia tactics and forceful intimidation practices mirror india's censorship,penal and military actions towards pakistan. both sides are literally wrong.
Also india did just recently bomb 300 militants in pakistani soil, u could argue they have the right to do so for national security reasons but carpet bombing ur neihbors yard is a bad idea

If a war does happen, I believe India will win due to the fact that they have a larger economy, population, and more advanced air defense/Air Force. This is kinda tricky for India. Pakistan has pretty solid relations with China, who would provide arms to Pakistan. The US is tricky. While historically the US has been an ally of Pakistan, relations have really soured since the War on Terror began, and the US has started to improve relations with India more. Honestly I could see the US supplying either side or even both. Russia would align itself with India, as well as Japan. The EU would also probably focus on India, though it has trade agreements with Pakistan too. India would eventually win but it would take maybe several years more due to the supplies from other nations. Kashmir is a radioactive wasteland and Islamabad and New Delhi are burning. India might end up the victor due to a larger population, but it would be a hollow victory with millions dead at the end of the first week.

As @Time said, way too complicated. People need to stop jumping at news titles and read indept and than do follow up research if they want to sprout serious bullshit. Not directed at you op, but in general. Both sides are nuclear armed, and its not easy to go to war without implicating millions, IF not billions of people. United States and other western countries wouldn't just sit aside and let it happen. Another thing to take into account is that the government is not that stupid. The main reason for all of this is religion.

No I am not forgetting the fact that we had been in conflict since the partition, Kashmir was ruled by a Hindu King, Kashmir wanted to be independent and India agreed to that, Pakistan tried to claim Kashmir on hearing the kings decision of being independent, Kashmir refusing to succumb to Pakistan agreed to join with India under some special conditions, thereby the king legally gave India the claim to Pakistan.

The mobs who slaughtered muslims was a reaction rather than an action, it was the reaction for the Native Hindu pandits in Kashmir that were slaughtered and drove away from their homes, from the land they lived in before muslims even occupied that place, it was a reaction to the injustice and brutality caused to the Indian and hindu people in Kashmir.

We have always been in conflict but India never instigated acts of violence. I don't understand the logic behind India being "literally" wrong. Even bin laden was finding safe haven in Pakistan, if they don't clean out their scum, others will.
