photoshop question

well since i couldn't find the right section I'm just gonna post it here well i was wondering i was on the adobe site and it said Photoshop is 699$ do you guys really pay that much if you don't can you tell me what you do also what photoshop you use and did you pay or what???
i posted this since i dont like using keyens and torrents for stuff
