(HELP) Rez Inject not working right

Lol i probably sound like a total noob asking about rezinject but when i inject files into a .rez it comes out as a reznew file. It doesn't say .new at the end so i can't change it to a regular rez file. Does a rez file converter even exist? If anyone can figure out how to change the reznew files to just rez files I would greatly appreciate it.

when you inejcts something into a .rez file you get another file called something.rezNew just backup the old file and rename the something.rezNew to something.rez (remove the "New" part of it...

I can't do that because the .new doesn't appear at the end but it still says it is a .rezNEW file.

can you make a screenshot because what your saying as i understand it is that it doesnt make a .reznew file but it makes a .reznew files instead lols


if you woner how to delete the "new" part of it right click on the file and press rename then gelete the "new" part

EDIT: Okay I figured out the problem. A lot of you can't access the file extensions for known file types.

In your folder hit "alt" if ur using Vista or Win7
Now go to Tools->Folder Options -> View

And uncheck hide known file extensions and you should be good to go.
