Someone please help me with this MAJOR problem!

Ok guys listen. I've had CrossFire on my computer for like 2 years and its been perfect. And yesterday when i opened crossfire that changed. I clicked start game nd it all went normal. the autopatch came up and loaded fast as usual. then the x-strap and hgw game watcher would come up and load fast to but it didnt. They came up, but it went SUPER slow. then when it FINALLY loaded my McAfee said trojan detected! then it blocked crossfire and wont let me play. i did a virus scan twice and it said no virus found but crossfire wont work cuz of this 'trojan' i guess. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thank you! I will thank anyone who helps me!

Get better anti virus

Are you using a hack? Turn your antivirus off?

step 1. get avg
step 2. add all crossfire related stuff as an exception to avg.
step 3. have fun.

well if u havent play 2 years ... do u start game from G4_box or crossfire?

Your antivirus is bad download Eset :=)

Just eset and no problemo

or Avast

I would recommend using Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. Also recommend not turning off your antivirus.

and its good
umm McAfee sucks

try turning it off

unintall it then go to their page and download the new crossfire this will solve it tell me if i helped

Mcafee is actually really good anti-virus, the only problem is it says there are virus's in files where there aren't :/

re download, reinstall and run as admin, use gamebooster if it still runs slow
and try running in xp compatibility, it could help.
