By "Silver and black" he mean the 2 colors in a same texture.... and btw your gold looks a little shity but nice job anyway

Try to ask to crazyquinn for teaching you, Its not for flame cristy but all he do is paste and overlay and maybe a little more.. So ask to a experimented photshop user like crazyquinn

I got photoshop eliments 7, how do I edit the guns with that, my DtxConvert won't wrk on my comp so?

Looks nice, but if the gold was a bit brighter it would look
better and more like a NX typed gun.
