Bannable or not?

These things applies on Steam version only.

There are alot of people asking in threads ''Is this detected?'', ''Will I get banned for this?'' etc. so I decided to make a thread about what is bannable or not.

Trainers/rankhacks/unlockers.
Those are not bannable if you use them properly, use them while you are at the Barracks and not in game. Close the hack before you go in game.

Textures/Skins.
VAC has stated that those are not bannable.
Quote from VAC:

Using custom skins, sounds or maps will not trigger a VAC ban.

External hacks.
External hacks got detected. You will be banned if you use them. Somehow VAC found a way to detect them.

Internal hacks (when it doesn't say ''External'' in the title).
You will most likely get banned for those since they modify .exe and .dll and are public.

You will not get VAC banned as long as you don't modify .exes and .dlls.

VAC disablers.
VAC disablers reduce your chance of getting banned for hacking, however, using public VAC diablers will not protect you. Public VAC disablers will most likely get you banned. Use private ones, note that they are hard to find and are expensive.

Info about VAC (Valve Anti Cheat).

Hosting MODS
Hosting MODS (.gsc) is bannable for host only (private matches included, because VAC runs in private matches too) the people who joins him won't get banned.
