[Tutorial] Custom Background Music in 10 Easy steps

Heya, here is an tutorial on how to set your own Custom background music (lobby music, that boring stuff...) WORKS FOR ALTERIWNET TOO.

Ok. Lets start!

10% credits to Archangel for giving me an idea

90% credits to KamielFTW (me) for posting it in the correct MPGH style.

STEP 1.
Download (all) Attachement(s)

STEP 2.
Download your MP3 (For example I'll take "K'Naan - Wavin Flags (Coca Cola celebration mix")
(I preffer searching your music on YouTube and then download it with a MP3 cutter from Google, just Google "YouTube video to MP3")

STEP 3. (optional D: )
Open your song and set it on loop, so you can listen to your awesome song

STEP 4.
Rename your song to "hz_t_oilrig_themestealth_v1"

STEP 5.
Open Pakscape

STEP 6.
Go to your Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Main folder in Pakscape (open > Main folder)

Step 7.
Open IW_20 (set Files to All Files (*))

Step 8.
Open the Sound folder, Open the Music folder

Step 9.
Drag "hz_t_oilrig_themestealth_v1" (MP3 file) into the Music folder.

Step 10.
OVERWRITE file (make sure you have a backup!) and then SAVE the folder (Close > Yes, or the save button)

DONE!
You now have your awesome song as MW2 lobby music!

That's the only .exe you've uploaded so... yes.

will this work with all my songs casue i have like 319 favorite songs that would go great with thia will it work forr all of those songs or just one?

pakscape is trust worthy, it was used for the unpatchable texture hack xD

U need to hexedit the files to make em work for publik cause ull get the files different from server again... add 4 bytes again ?

um lol?....i dont think theres a spot for all 319 songs, he meant just a couple.../yea

you need to hex edit from the original file, but as others are saying "there using textures" without the files error.. :/

You can only set one, ONE song. You can do any song you want!

Uuhm... Dude, your MW2 Lobby Music is always private, noone else can hear it. Its like a texture mod, but then a music mod

No kerocs, you dont delete 4 bytes.

And kamielftw, if you follow that method you are going to get 'Files different from server' error. It doesn't matter if 'it's private', when you enter a server it does a file check.
