What's a good game to reverse?

What's a good game to reverse that uses D3D8 or D3D9? I need some practice in reversing some FPS games that do not have tight AC. (Please don't give answers like minesweeper...) I know Assault Cube is going to be a popular answer but something else. Would be nice if I didn't have to buy the game (Like CoD:MW2).

Note* This is mainly about reverse engineering but then again, RCE is sort of linked with C++ in game-hacking sense.

Have a feeling Hell_Demon's going to know all about these.

How's the AC over there?

CoD : MW2 , Go for Private Servers. ( Like AlterIWNet, Witch is Pretty much the moder of PServers )

You can have fun, And they don't have reliable measures to kill cheaters / Detect Anything.

Oh okay, so it's a private server. I need to get MW2 on torrent first? Or is the client they put on their website all I need?

Go to isoHunt ? the BitTorrent & P2P search engine
type in Mw2 multiplayer
Download something with a high seed count
Its a private server. Client by itself

Pretty neat game, SDK is available on steam. You can practice both engine and d3d hooking on it

Edit: best off all, it's free and (currently) has no anticheat.

Yeah it's fun, I have a basic aimbot and ESP for it ^^ I might release the code if there's enough interest and if I have the time to tidy it up a bit
