[Help] PS3 being retarded

So recently my ps3 has been having problems, It wouldnt read discs or play them, and it would just not work. Now it wont even start without saying - The system hard disc is corrupted, press x to restore. When I do that nothing on the xmb would load except for settings. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it, I can repay you with sigs XD. Thanks again guys.

You may have to install a new hdd

and the reason it may not read disks is that your lazer is messed up in the disk tray...

How do I install a new hdd?

once you install the new hdd, how would you go back to having the layout where you can select everything. like installing the dashboard

The PS3 Default Firmware is Saved on an Internal Flash Card, This is how you can access the XMB after installing a New HDD
