CROSSFIRE INJECTION GUIDE
[
NOTE: This is my first time writing a guide, please give me any advice that would be helpful! Edits by mods and suggestions are welcome! Thanks so much for reading! Sorry if I placed this in the wrong section... There wasn't any real guide section]
Hey! If you’re reading this thread, you’re most likely in a situation where you’re completely lost and have no idea what you’re doing, you’re new to hacks and are trying to understand how to use them, or you’re just plain failing at it.
Fear no more! You’ve come to the right place, so let the injections begin!
Chapter 1: Hacks and Basics of Injectors
If you're having trouble or are completely new to hacking, the first thing to do is to get you familiar with the world of hacking. Firstly, what is a hack? A hack is something that is used to reconfigure or reprogram something and in this case, we are hacking Crossfire. Although we aren’t changing the original Crossfire Files (That would cause your game to completely screw up), we are injecting new codes (.dll files) into the game. A .dll file is what codes (used for the hack) are saved in and are used to manipulate the files in the original Crossfire files. In order to do this, you need an injector and a .dll file. Your .dll file is downloaded from the forums here in MPGH, or from other sites. Although I do NOT recommend you download hacks out of MPGH for reasons such as a secure review panel (Our wonderful moderators/minions/etc) and a great community.
Lets review….
We’ve gone over:
-What a hack is
-What a .dll file is
-How do I use the .dll files
Chapter 2: Injectors
We’ve already talked about .dll files and why we need them. We’ve also grabbed some basics about injectors. We already know what injectors are for, and this is where the fun starts to happen. Your first job is to get an injector.
Injectors are all over the internet and in this forum. SO before you begin to ask if where can I download injector, please note the following
Injectors include:
- FaithInjector
- PerX
- Valkyrie Injector
These aren’t the only injectors. MPGH forum members are always busy coding their own injectors and are always hard at work coding hacks. Injectors such as PerX can be located simply by google. Before you download a injector, please
MAKE SURE that the download is safe and that it will not harm your computer.
Lets review….
We've learned that
-Injectors are NEEDED
-They are located all over this forum
-We've learned about some famous and good reliable injectors
Chapter 3: Injections and hacking
Congratulations! You've made it this far! You're very close to finishing and start playing Crossfire with your new hacks!
For this guide, I will show you how to use Injections in FaithInjector. (
I believe Faith is a modded version of Valkyrie Injector) Although other injectors are good, Faith is reliable and is very user-friendly.

Here we have a detailed layout of FaithInjector.
As you can see there are an array of buttons and different things to do. You can also note that each button is numbered.
Here's a list explaining each button:
1. Shows the file menu. Gives you the option to save your current .dll layout. (The files you want to inject currently, so that in the future, you won’t have to re-add all the files over again)
2. Shows the settings menu. Gives you an array of options. (
SEE CHAPTER 4)
3.Gives a menu for options to view process list as well as information about the process.
4. Process box, click to change, or re-edit to your preferred .exe game.
5. Injection button. Used to inject files when manually injecting. Otherwise, do not touch this button.
6. Delete button. This button is used to delete files. Simply select the file you want to delete in the file box, and hit delete.
7. Add button, used to add files (most likely .dll) to inject. When you press this button, it opens a file explorer/browser where you can then select .dll files from the original location.
8. File name. The name of the hack. Select files by clicking on them. This is where your .dll file names are listed so that you know which files are being injected.

Chapter 4: Settings and Injecting
Now that your files are loaded up, you're all set. Time to inject! But wait! xTrap pops up and bam, you've been detected! Oh no!
Don't fret! You just realized you forgot to edit the settings!

Here's a detailed picture of your settings menu in FaithInjector.
As you again have noticed, it's labeled, this time, letters are used.
Faith Injector Settings
A.Delay option. Don't touch this unless you're an expert and you know what you're doing.
B.Delay option. The delay between injection of multiple .dll files. Once again, don't touch this unless you know what you're doing.
C.This is HIGHLY recommended for all new hackers and beginners. The automated injection is HIGHLY used and makes you're life MUCH easier. Never disable this unless you know what you're doing.
D.Injection Option. Once again, this is HIGHLY recommended. After the file(s) has been injected, the injector will close. This helps prevent xTrap from detecting a file injection of some sort. Do NOT disable this unless you know what you're doing.
E. Font color. Unless you actually care about your injectors font color, don't bother.
As mentioned before, injecting is recommended to be automatically done and you shouldn't disable several options otherwise the injection will fail. After you are finished with settings, move on to injecting.

Chapter 5: Injecting
You're all set to go! Boot up crossfire but DO NOT start the game, make sure your injector is set to go and all the files you intend to inject are set. Once you have finished these checks, start the game. The injector will wait until the auto-patcher and xTrap have initialized. Then it will inject your .dll files into the game. If all goes correctly, (
According to your hack, there may be some kind of success message. An example is the [6/26/10] release by Blood. His hack will cause a MPGH site to pop up HOWEVER, this is NOT THE CASE for ALL HACKS. Please read your hacks INSTRUCTIONS before asking about your .dll files.) you will have finished the injection. Log in, and enter a server. Join a game, and test out your hacks. See if they're working. If not, something in the injection process may have gone wrong, or something with the hack may not work anymore with the game. If the hack works, then congratulations! You've successfully injected a .dll file into a game and owned the anti-hacking system!

Many thanks to FaithDev for coding FaithInjector.
Don't forget your manners! Say thank you! Writing guides takes a while.
