I remember all this...
Dial-up sucked and I couldn't be on the internet long or we wouldn't get any phone calls.

They had this on my school computers when I was in the 8th grade...

I played a Captain Crunch game on windows 98 when i was a kid :]
And my dad gave me his old Windows 95 laptop when i was like 4-5

I didn't just hear that when i was younger.
I heard my brother's phone calls with his girlfriend WHILE the dialup procedure was starting.
