Lucid dreaming

I wonder if anyone here has ever achieved a lucid dream (a dream while aware of the fact that you're dreaming).
I've had 2 in the past months so I got curious about it and looked some shit up. It's really interesting IMO, you can do anything you want in a lucid dream and you can train yourself for it (like I've been doing for the past few weeks)
the only thing bothering me are lucid nightmares. Those are scary as fuck, believe me; I've had one a year ago and I can still remember it clearly.. I was shitting my pants.

I recommend you try it. It's awesome.

when i was younger, while lucid dreaming, occasionally i could control what i did in my dreams.

Keep a dream log, do reality checks, try to recognize it when you're dreaming (you'll eventually recognize patterns), stay calm when entering a lucid dream (excitement might wake you up inmediatly)...

Look it up on google.

I had a few lucid dreams this week, and somehow I end up dying in all of them. I think its a sign of my death

Yes I have.
I knew I was dreaming and really wanted to get out of it.
Then i woke up.

If you can train yourself to check your watch twice you should notice that in a dream the time is never the same the second time around, this should be enough of a warning flag to realize that you're actually sleeping.

So...? You can do anything you want: fly, drive, fuck unreachable chicks, rape Sam, etc.

So who cares about an extra finger?

i once had a lucid dream that i was peeing on some person in a conference meeting, but i really wasn't sure if i was dreaming or not. I didn't know about lucid dreaming or anything about it, but i just assumed it was a dream.

i love lucid dreams, they feel awesome, because pretty much, you can do anything.

however, for quite some time, i haven't even been having dreams in the first place.

back in kindergarten i had a whole bunch of lucid nightmares about art projects i made, that were coming alive and attacking me.

Yeah you can literally do what ever you want, I was able to fly in a dream once, it wasn't easy though i had to do all sorts of shit in my dream to get started, but once i did it was pretty boss.

maybe he was doing too much out of body experiences and ended up failing on on of them.
