GTA IV Connection Help??

My brother just bought GTA IV
Hw want to play online, But when he trys to play online, It says
"the connection to one or more players has been lost"

How can we fix this?
The PS3 says its NAT Type 2.
We can play mw2 fine, just this is stuffing up..

Yes. He gets in a lobby and all.
IT goes to "Starting Game" then just kicks him just before he gets in.

Maybe your connecting to a server outside of your country and are being kicked because of your latency or ping!

Thats wat i thought myself..
It was working fine with my other modem, But not forr my new one.
I had to change the modem because of all the dropouts i was getting

Which Modem do You have? Do You Know the specific Brand and Model?

Yepp. Just got it with my ISP
Its a Thomson TG782T

I've had that Modem for awhile now and I get the same problem sometimes, beware though that this modem can Block your PS3 from connecting to the Playstation Network even if you have port forwarded and set the PS3 to be in DMZ!

Was happening about 10 times a day.. This modem seems to be more stable.

First Had the 2WIRE, Was ABSOLUTE shit. Couldnt Game/Download
Then bought a Linksys. Good Modem, Good Modem. Recently called BP, They fucked our connection, Now that modem wont stay connected.
Nao i have this new Tompson. Stable connection is stable(for the time being)

Havent tested my xbox out on it yet, BUT it shouldnt have any problems..

Bro is havin a rage that he cant play nao D:

So just portforward it and should fix the problem??

When I First Got this modem I was connecting to an ISP in Europe! I was Like WHAT THE F*** O_O, I reset my modem 5 times in a row before it connected to a server in australia!
