image file corrupt

I have downloaded the golden mini uzi skin and replaced it with the orginal texture in packscape
but when i run MW 2 I will get a error screen with: image file corrupt!
what should i do?

Remove the skin by going to steam, right click mw2, properties, files, verify integrity of game cache. If not then reinstall

but what need to do to get the skin with not getting the error message?
