Hello everybody, usually in game my fps is around 30-40 ( I know, sucks. )
When I use Fraps (cracked) I get around 15 fps! Can somebody give me a tut on how not to lag, I've seen a few montages here on mpgh and none of them lag with this. I'm currently making my first amateur montage in Sony Vegas 9.0 and really need some good filming tips, e.g not to lag! Thanks
Tell me your ram and processor, please.
Some pcs will struggle to record and run a fps without creating screenlag
if you can see on the video bit of fraps there is a bit where it says fps and if you got it on say 20 your fps will be 5 lower than that so i suggest you set your fps to 45 !!
Thank me if i helped
Try making ur fps in fraps higher to about 100. Then try setting the setting to half-size.

Your processor is normal, not very good and not very bad (for videos it is a little bad...). A big part of your ram should be filled up with crossfire, other programs and the screen recorder. I have 8 gb ram, intel dual core i5 3.2 ghz... so I can record at 100 fps with no lag These 2 things are not too expensive...

No, I'm saying that he needs to change some parts on his computer (physic parts), if he wants to record with good quality and fps...

That's an outdated laptop cpu. it's far from good. And seeing as this is most likely a laptop, he can't upgrade it /
