the sign is done!

well i finaly got the redstone torch sign done with the full 21 frames of animation.. but i dont have fast enough internet to record a video of it animating because i went and built it on an mp server..

but if anyone is interested i can do a video explaining how it works..

also i was curious if anyone here had some ideas on what i should animate on the sign... its 14 pixels wide 7 tall and 21 frames... so if you have any ideas tell me... when i can get ahold of some faster net ill record a video of it animating... if i dont come across better net ill just do manual frame changes...

ur prolly right its basically harbingers design on a massive scale..
i would like to build one on ur server too.. it seems fast enough..

also it appears you have anti greifing programs in place and my host and i would like to take our server public so ppl can actually enjoy the stuff without it gettin destroyed.. so i would like to talk to you about that some time if at all possible..

ive also done some upgrades since then... i may have found the limit of what the game can do...

i was gunna edit my post but it wouldnt let me.. so here is the most recent test.. had to completely redesign the binary generator to get smooth output changes.. but this is the results it yeilded.
tell me what you think of it..

and still taking ideas for what it should animate..

well about a week of testing on smaller 7 segment displays and a smaller animatable display..
but from the start of this project till tonight prolly 2 weeks..

i am too damn lazy to do anything like that

thank you... and as soon as my server host gets the problems from the recent patch fixed im gettin back to work on my stop watch.. not an original idea i know but they had one on another server and i thought it was cool so i figured i would make one too.. who knows i might go epic with this idea and make a 12 hour clock... or as close as i can seeing keeping time in minecraft seems a bit difficult.. hmm maybe they should put a quartz crystal in the game.. that would be cool..
