This is the same idea, except I wrote it in C++ and it installs itself and keeps your computer from starting.

All my source does is take advantage of the DOS command shutdown.exe and switches like -l -r -s -t etc. To shutdown the user's computer ins a variety of ways so that you may enjoy giving them a virus. (Don't open the *.exe on your computer.)
