2: A VPN stands for something (Can't remember and CBF googling it). You will hopefully be able to find a VPN on google. It will change your IP to a russian IP so that you can activate.
3: I would rather give it to a russian friend, but if you don't have friends, go with the VPN.
I think that they can do it for you if you ask...
Also, don't bypass the filter. Fix your post or you may receive a ban.

It's not too hard to find a Free Russian VPN I guess, but how will you be able to use a VPN in Steam? VPN works like a Proxy right, in your Browser

Its a virtual private network. And frankly, I think just letting plati do it for you would be just as easy.
just buy one from keys4.me they sell em for £16 and they activate it for u if u give em ur username n pass for steam

David, I've bought multiple keys from keys4.me including Black Ops Russian Version. VPN stands for Virtual Private Server. Although you can get a free Russian VPN, its much easier to let them activate it for you. Make a new Steam account because there is a small chance of ban. However, mine worked perfectly and I have been playing for a week now.
I bought my keys for... less than the amount you named (

I guess I could link via PM ("posting outside links will get you BANNED."), then again I have enough bandwidth left there that I could also just activate it for somebody else. No links involved .
Yes, I realise giving somebody with one post (ok two now) your steam details smells of 'dumb'. An e-pal of mine was dumb enough a few days ago to give some Chinese kids his email & paypal pw and lost $500.
I previously lurked here and only registered to make my insanely helpful post above.
But hey, I had my Steam acc stolen once and no permanent harm was done. My mistake was using a common password that I also used as forum logins on a few CS-related forums, and one of them had their MySQL DB stolen.
But no, not free. You won't find a useful free VPN/Proxy. Can always use Tor, but that's comparatively more painful to set up and use.

It is much easier to just get them to activate it for you. Free VPS/VPNs are unsecure and can lead to stolen identities and other personal data. I wouldn't recommend VPN, especially if it is not paid.
