Are Rez name tags possible?

No its not possible buddy. It's a part of the game engine and there is no rez for it.

In other words, it's not possible.

Name tags are server-sided, I believe. You can't access server-sided addresses with conventional coding. It requires packet-editing, which can get you sued.
