Since there was a well known hacker in that party, I assumed a GM could have popped in to check. Ofcourse, if someone spilled the command that created that portal, then all is good.

Highly doubt the GM's would need a portal to go anywhere -_-

It's very easy to imitate GM and open a portal.
Also, I doubt the real GMs just have their name as "GM".
It would be something like "GM <name>"

There is no Gms checking dungeons but there is Gms or nexon employees playing just like us players. No special tittle no special names. they are like spy but not spying on players but glitches n bugs n the whole game and yes if they were in your boat and suspect there is something going on in ur dung or ur boat that is different they will check ur logs or spy on you.. so yea there is ppl from nexon but not ppl who randomly jumping in dungeons and there is

We know GMs play games as individuals, but they're off the job. They don't "spy" on you. They have better things to do than that. Like actually do work.

Just cause they're off the job when playing as an individual doesn't mean they won't check logs if they suspect suspicious activity. Sure they don't literally stalk every dungeon since they play themselves but they still have a duty as a GM to report bugs/glitches/hackers.

Does an off-work cop not call in a robbery and request assistance if he sees one? Or does he just walk away and not care since he's "off the job". Same concept here, when GMs work, they work. When they're off work, they're still obligated to do some things related to work when necessary.

What grade are you in? I think my brain just cramped up from trying to read this paragraph.
