DoS attack?

Anyone know how to attack someone using dos?

Maybe lag their game?

I've search and found nothing.

I know it, but its not a good thing to know really.

Ddos is good to know but not good to use :P it is aginst the law :P , of USA ofc

In my country DoS gives you 3 years in prison

He sounds like he has more knowledge about dDos then you....

dDos = Direct Denial of Service. Basically, spam their IP address with connections. Simple way to do it?

Start Menu - Run - cmd - /ping 192.168.1.1 -t

Replace the 192.168.1.1 with another IP, unless you wanna dDoS yourself..

It's DDoS, which means Distributed Denial of Service, which means multiple computers (a botnet, in most cases) are pinging the server. You wouldn't type "/ping 192.168.1.1 -t" it would be "ping 127.0.0.1 -l 5000 -t" which would send a larger than 32 byte size packet, which is laughable, but hardly effective against a highspeed internet connection. 192.168.1.1 is only if you are on a router, and the submask may be different, so chances are you might not attack yourself. Most of the time it just floods the connection preventing users from working.
