[How to] Remove a keylogger!
Open the start menu
Click Run
Type msconfig
Go to the startup tab
Look for suspicious programs(*)
The last step is obvious very vague. Suspicious programs are obviously hard to find when you don't know what you are looking for. Below are some hints to finding them.
Stretch out the Command tab
Look for anything in Appdata
Does it look safe?
Often they will have fake names to pose as something real, nothing real important will be ran from appdata, so turning things off for safety won't harm you
If the manufacturer is 'unknown' or blank - it is most likely a logger, real companies such as Windows or Apple are verified by windows.
Untick the square box next to the item, and then click apply
Restart your computer and then change your passwords
