I feel like comic books are like a michael bay film and manga is what japanese consider movies.
/discuss.
Manga is more interesting to me, and it's drawing is to me, nicer than a comic book, more of the type of animated people. And the rate of publishing the manga chapter is faster than publishing a comic book.
Comic books may be good as it is mostly coloured, but manga mostly aren't coloured.
Actually, they both are drawn animated books, they are mostly the same in general.
Because manga doesn't look extremely realistic, it is easier to imagine moves happening.
American comics were made to be realistic, and would just seem weird if it had a manga story.

American comics are all unrealistic.
Not to mention I can't read a comic without a huge explosion going off every 3 pages.

1. walking dead tv show is bomb.

Green lantern is pretty good.
Batman isn't, thor isn't,
walking dead is good(but really just zombie zombie zombie like all the other zombie shit you see).

Gourav, i hate moe manga, in all regards it is shit. I 100% agree with you on that.
But.......manga has story, plot, character developement, and to be honest, the action is better. Comic books may have the epicness of superman doing impossible shit, or gods destroying worlds and whatnot, but manga actually has better action because the action is choreographed better.
Maybe its the martial arts, but 99% of the action in comics is some muscular guy(who all look the same except the costume/face) punching another guy with a big "bam" effect.

Comic books are still pretty boring though. The plot is usually as thrilling as naruto's "defeat the bad guy" type. not to mention most of them involve some guy having no real developing of actual powers.

I'm sorry but comic books nowadays can't be compared to manga.
I still however do appreciate the originals. I like the original X-men and most of marvel's original stuff, along with DC's stuff.
But manga nowadays surpasses comics by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar

and so manga MANNNY FUCKING MANY american comic book writers have switched to mangas..

they all are American artists doing jap shit.
due to shit fucking sales in the US.
i like some "dark themed" American comic books like dark avengers and Marvel zombies
they are still my favorite comic books things in the world and even the best of manga cant change that.
