This is merely for opinion, just offering a suggestion myself that I don't think has been mentioned before in Ghost Mode.
I was thinking why couldn't we change up the mechanics for GM a bit? Make it more balanced, strategical and interesting overall.
We all know that GR listen for breath, and Ghosts breathe. To counter this they have to keep moving and usually bunny hop. Which on its own is a tactical edge. Here's my suggestion for a GM change in play.
-Holding Breath
Hitting a specific key, like Alt or Shift a Ghost would be able to hold their breath for a limited duration while the key is held. After they hold their breath for too long, a short loud breath emits briefly before returning to normal. Items like Breath Down would reduce this negative effect as well.
This would allow Ghost's to tactically be able to confuse GR or remain hidden for key points when needed while the key is being used. This effect kind of mimic's when you use a sniper and scope in, taking a breath and holding it as you aim/concentrate.
-Modified Bunnyhop
To balance the game out, being able to make one self breathless for a time is an advantage, with normal Bhop it would be too overwhelming for BL to overcome GR with the combo as is. However, BL is meant for speed as well as stealth, taking it away completely would cripple them.
Hence why the modified bunnyhop would either make ghosts visible while doing so, retaining their speed bonus. Or half visibility as equivalent to crouch walking. With the key being tied into something like Shift, it would be impossible for Ghosts to combine bunnyhopping with holding breath without losing their benefits due to shifts slow movement action as well.

-Improved Smoke & Light
This would be an option for Ghosts to have the best of both worlds, having bunnyhop stay as is and gain the Hold Breath feature, but at the cost of GR also getting a little boost of their own.
I'm sure many remember the patch that made Ghosts visible in smoke as long as they were in line visually between GR and the smoke. The same happened with the light sources. This would force Ghosts to plan more strategically and need to be careful around such exposed areas. (Mind you GR couldn't see on the opposite side, where this gave Ghost's another advantage of being able to see through the smoke with their weapons/body to see on the other side.)

Good opinions.
First, thats why they made ghost breath down. I think its just to complicated to hold alt what ever to hold ur breath.
You can see ghost in light pretty well also in smoke.
And i don't get the modified b-hop.
That's pretty good.
