Loading CFG files

So, AFAIK, there's still no way to modify hfs files without making the game crash.

Is there a workaround to load new config files (.cfg) then?

Namely, I want to bind a few commands and modify a few camera settings.

I tried the consoles, but they have limits of characters, so you can't bind a long string to a key.
Is there a way to load a cfg thru the console?

Use the nunsole (a console) to bind them. Configs are encrypted.
