Hacks don't work?

I think i've done everything i need to to get the hack working. There's no pop up or anything after i have injected crossfire with the dll file. is there anything wrong with what im doing?

1. I open the injector and set it to auto
2. I type in crossfire.exe (or if it automatically has the .exe on the end just crossfire)
3. I select my dll file to inject (hack)
4. I set the injector to close on inject.
5. and finally i run crossfire...

what seems to happen is the injector closes, and nothing happens
no pop ups or anything come up

im using widnows 7 on a laptop (dont know if that makes much difference)
and yes, i have tried running it as administrator, i always do.

Same here, have u windows 7 64 bit, or 32? I have 32bit and only that work is speed hack, with cheat engine. :S

okay, cheat engine only works with mine as well, i cant use any injectors, i have tried a few. i think i've used about 9 - 15 different injectors and it still doesn't work. I am also running on Windows 7 64 bit i think, which ever one has the program file(x86)

Maybe a different injector?

Dont forget; run it with adminstrator.

im now not too sure if a different injector will help seeming as i have used a few different ones.

if it is possible, can someone download an injector and hack, try it on their crossfire, then post the links for the downloads/threads? im just thinking it could possibly be me doing something wrong or my computer doesn't have the right stuff installed
Are there any requirements needed to inject hacks into crossfire.exe?
I mean like things to be installed
