Guys I have a problem. I downloaded A.V.A not long ago from steam, and when I click start game, it says: "Reactor failed to update, please try again (90)". I kept searching for a way to solve this but I couldn' find a way so I came here. Any help would be greatly appreciated

.Try opening Reactor as admin, if that doesn't work run CCleaner and Adv System Care and try again opening as admin .
If you do all this and it doesn't work im sorry but you need to download the game via Page mirrors.

Or.. you can follow these steps to download it without Steam, in 4 easy steps.

1. Go to ijji.com, when there you should see their list of games Soldier Front, Gunz etc, AVA should be there, click it.
2.Now that you've clicked on it at the top of the page you should see the Download button, its next to Add G Coins.
3.Now you should be on a page that list's IJJI's games and their Sizes and download server.From there scroll down and click AVA, select your server and then once you've select the server it will lead you to another page.
4.Now your on the download file page, just click Download and now after your done your ready to play some AVA.

But I have another problem, when I try to open it up, it loads fine, but then it tells me failed to authorize my username or something, then after that, I got a blue screen of death. I tried it again, this time, no blue screen, but I get a virus allert from the AVA.exe file, "unknown" Originally Posted by warly

Make sure you have no 3rd party programs running, or things like Skype, msn or yahoo. If it fails again reboot your pc open up the reactor then click on AVA then click Repair. Then try running it.

3. Restart your pc.
4. Launch the reactor as admin.

I'm not using the reactor, cause every time i run the reactor, i get error (90), plus, it doesn't even tell me to log on and it gives me that error. :l
Also if you have in your computer the setup, you can click it and tick 'repair'
start>control panel>programs>uninstall a program>uninstall, and re-install. I think that will fix your problem, give it a try.
Allright guys I fixed the blue screen of death but in order to start the game I think that I need to use the ijji reactor. But as I said before, when I try to open it it gives me the same error (90). If you guys could help me fix that I would be very gratefull
On the reactor click "Repair".

As i stated if you have the ava setup you can repair the whole game
