In the IGN preview it's stated that the game will be based around ranked 5v5 matches, if there's a player lacking, then... a bot will replace the missing players (what the fuck?). There's also some kind of skill rating bullocks going to be added too. To play games with more players you'll have to play custom games which apparently have ranking disabled.
They also added some new weapons like stun gun and molotov, gah. That molotov seems a bit over the top, not sure how much damage it does, but it can just aswell prevent a team from loosing if some molotovs are thrown into the path to the C4, the CTs will burn to hell and it would be practically impossible to defuse the bomb, so I hope they balance that out.
What do you guys think about this "fancy" game?

I think they're trying to overdo it. I've been a long time Counter-Strike fan (since the early alpha days) and they constantly just fuck with the game. CS:CZ and 1.6 were the last good ones. Source was great until Hidden Path FUCKED it up. So basically, I'm not looking forward to it so much. I'm still going to buy it, I have every Counter-Strike besides that stupid ass korean one Nexon made.
Hopefully they use a new gaming engine other than the Orange Box. I hate the Orange Box's engine. It's like Source but lacking in so many features.

Tbh I kind of like the new features. The game feels like a more competitive type of CS. And since the game will be released on consoles, my casual cod friends can finally experience a REAL hardcore fps.
@Parade I hate to argue, but you are wrong about the Orange Box not being an engine. In this update it says "Orange Box Engine". Not trying to be rude of course, but I Counter-Strike and anything related is what I know best. Wikipedia's definition is actually wrong. The Orange Box is a game package, yes, but each of the games in the Orange Box runs on (what was at the time new) the Orange Box Engine. The Orange Box Engine is just source, with features taken out of the console, and multi-processor support added.
I do agree with you on one thing, it will be intense to see all of those CoD fanboys try a real FPS for once. Something that's been a legend in the FPS world.

I'm also on the fence about the graphics.
They're still shit, although that is what CS is made to be.

@Jakob Counter-Strike isn't really meant for graphics. I'll choose CS:S over CoD (This is just an example) any day because I prefer the gameplay, it's less rushing and more strategic. With Counter-Strike, you give up graphics to have the ability to take your time and create a strategy. Counter-Strike is one of the few games that players can actually pull off a clutch in (one player killing the entire other team as the last surviving member of his own team).
