4G ram? upgrading to 8G?

So I currently have 4Go of ram on my laptop. Do you think I should get 4 more Go or stay like that?

More RAM is not always better. What do you do on your computer, and how many applications do you usually have open at a time? Most of the time 4G is plenty. Also, is your operating system 32 bit or 64 bit?

good cause if it was 32 bit then more than 3 gigs would be be useless

You should be able to make it with 4, but 8 certainly wouldn't hurt, especially with iTunes, PS, and five browser tabs.

Windows 32 bit can use about 3.7 GB.

I have 8, but I use mine for gaming, not just browsing.
