Adding minecraft creations

Is there anyway to add a specific part of someones map and include it to the current one im making

You mean merging worlds?

I assume that your are talking about merging worlds as Woods said?
If so then you will probably want to go grab the latest copy of MCedit:MCEdit: Minecraft World Editor (Compatible with MC Beta 1.8!) - Minecraft Forum and then start downloading the schematics or other world files that you want from others and then grab the parts of the world you want copy them save them as a schematic and then load it on the other world, if I didn't make any sense to you telling you how to do it then try this video :P
