Eyefinity. You put both monitors into one group and it treats everything as one monitor, including the taskbar. There are some other programs that do it for you, but im not a big fan of downloading 3rd party programs for doing something as trivial as that.

Ah, I'm not using an AMD video card so I have to use third party software.

You sure? I havn't ever used multiple monitors with a Nvidia card, but there should be something you can use in the driver program. Forget what its called, but for ATI its the Catalyst control that runs in the taskbar.
