Hey, this is my first logo i made
RF stand for Rescue Force(Just as my name)
I did use a 3d tutorial to make the planet and shit.
Helpfull Critique is welcome, but don't FLAME please

tone down the contrast, makes it look really lq
text is pretty horrid, can't read it properly and the colour of the glow doesnt suit the rest of the piece

Thanks, but what do you mean with the glow? glow of text or planet? (And what is lq?)

LQ=low quality

If you made the planet and all that jazz than not bad. It is a little over contrasted and maybe too sharp? Something else isn't right about it. But that Text has to go.

blurring made it lower quality

i would play with adjustment layers like contrast and curve to increase the quality

Blurring wouldn't be bad if you erased parts of it to make some sort of depth. But idk what you could really do with this. I'm not sure how much of it you actually made yourself.

Background was standard, the planet was a flat (square) image, changed it into a 3d object using photoshop 3d function, Also some brushes combined and placed around the planet.
So pretty much everything myself (And some tuts)

Restart .

follow the tutorial more carefully. everything is too bright. so the focal point is everywhere for me.

also....stick to basic fonts. like arial, verdana, etc unless you know what you're doing. Most of the time anything else will look like shit.
