Bought a new headset. Looking for mic

Finally decided to replace my old and broken Plantronic headset.

Looking for something that is good for gaming and really good for music and it had to look good. So I got these:

Not bad for $230, plus they sound amazing playing around in BF3, then listening to The Witcher 2 soundtrack.

What headphones you guys got?

Also can you guys recommend a decent mic if you're knowledgeable enough.

Would rather invest in decent sound quality rather than an all-in-one solution as I game and listen to music more than I Skype. Just looking for a nice clean desktop mic for the occasional skype chat+bf3 party+diablo farm runs.
