Borderlands 2: Third Person Camera through Direct X hook?
Gearbox rewrote the bindings code for Borderlands 2 PC, such that the Borderlands Third Person Camera mod no longer works. I doubt this was intentional, but more a side effect of them trying to get more control over the bindings system than Epic's Bindings command allowed. But I have no idea as Gearbox will not respond to any questions related to this subject at all.
We, as a community, have invested considerable time trying to re-implement Third person on PC. Recently a JTAG 360 mod was released with Third Person mode. Unfortunately, it uses the exact same method that worked in the original Borderlands, but is no longer possible on PC.
Even using Cheat Engine, no one has been able to get Third Person working. I spoke with Hipolipolopigus, creator of the in-production Skynet (Skyrim Multiplayer Mod), who has been working with DirectX wrapping, but he doesn't know enough about the UE3 engine to try to implement this himself. I thought surely someone on the forums might be able to point us in the right direction. Any help or suggestions is appreciated, even if it's just pointing towards existing UE3 DirectX Hook examples. Thanks.
