As you see you can download alot of files on the internet. This isn't without risks. Alot of downloads are infected with malware. Malware can be : Adware , Computer Virus , Computer Worm , IRCBot , Rootkit , Spyware and more. Its important that u occur all these things. Prevention is better then healing. You are the best anti-malware. You are the person that let the malware do its work. Of course there are programs to help you prevent from malware. We call that Anti-Malware/ Virus / etc. Every computer need one or you will take a big risk. I think u dont wanna lose bank data and passwords.

I recommend a anti-virus , malware scanner and a nice firewall.
